HYC Tuesday Check in

Hello there! I am still here, still stressed, still not blogging. Whine, whine, whine, I know. I knew my weight would catch up with me eventually. And so this morning, I'm at 230 even. That still is a 60 pound loss, so nothing to sneeze at. But, it is a gain from last week. I know that the stress, missed workouts, and PMS cravings (hello, french fries!) all contributed to this.

One thing to cheer about for the past week, I got my act together and got up at 6 am to work out, last Wednesday. That's not easy for my sleepy time Barbie nature, so a definite NSV. Other than that, I don't have too much to report. I'm not going to get down on myself - I'm still planning my meals, and that things will get back to normal soon. Going to the gym tonight!

I really appreciated all the kind words on my last check in. I seriously considered not posting and therefore via omission, not facing my binge. But I am reminded by Mel and her Diet Naked philosophy that only by being honest and accountable, can we really succeed. So thank you for being a safe haven to admit that to, my lovely blogging friends. I'll buy you a tossed salad with low-fat vinagrette anytime we get together!

wow go you with getting up early and exercising! you are my hero!! I am still struggling with that aspect of my life.

and I think 60 pounds is amazing!

Wow! 60lbs is fantastic! I think a lot of people are feeling the strain these days, and it's effecting their mood and diets (myself included). Hang in there and keep up the good work!

Getting up early - that is soooooooo hard. Good for you!

Enjoy your workout tonight. With the exercise and the meal planning, I bet next week's post will be much happier.

Hi Sara, glad to see you on my Google Reader. I have been having cookie issues, so I can relate. Let's go get that salad - I love them as long as the restaurant is doing all the chopping :)

Sometimes we need to go on "simmer" for a bit. You're still doing a lot of things right (yaay to early a.m. exercise) and you'll be back to a full steam soon.

You're so positive. It's wonderful to see how you keep your head up. Keep it going. Set backs are fine when you're so focused on getting back on track. It's great to see ya staying focused!

60 lbs is a fantastic victory!!! That's like half a person!

If you binge again, don't shrink away due to (insert reason). Think of it as a fun thing you did and now it's time to get back to the grind. When I binge, I have a blast cuz I don't have to worry about anything or count anything. I just pick a day that I'm going to start strict again and then I adhere to it. That's my philosophy anyway. :)

Again, great job on the weight loss!!! :)
